As members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) we adhere to the ethical and technical standards of performance required by our membership. Additionally, the firm is proud to be a member of Construction Industry CPA’s/Consultants Association (CICPAC), a national organization of CPA firms dedicated to providing the highest quality accounting and tax services to the construction industry.

Our Team
Philip W. Taylor, CPA, Principal
Philip W. Taylor is the Auditing and Accounting Principal for Taylor, Duffy & Associates, P.C. As a founding member of the firm, he has over twenty years experience in all areas of financial presentation.
Phil has overall responsibility for auditing and consulting for various industries including construction, retailing, manufacturing, and wholesaling. He is considered one of Phoenix’s most knowledgeable accounting professionals in the area of construction accounting.
Phil earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Northern Arizona University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Phil also serves on the board of directors of the Construction Financial Management Association.
He believes financial statements reflect directly on the credibility of both the client and the firm. Emphasis is placed on providing timely financial information which will assist third party users in making decisions beneficial to the client’s business.

Mary K. Duffy is the Tax Principal with Taylor, Duffy & Associates, P.C. and is a strong advocate of tax planning as compared to tax compliance. It is essential for taxpayers to plan one or more years in advance and to continually update the plan as situations change.
Mary joined the firm in 1986, after graduating from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She has completed the Masters of Taxation program at Arizona State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mary is also active in the National Association of Women in Construction and currently serves on the board of directors of the Phoenix chapter.
Mary supervises the income tax preparation and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profit organizations. She has a strong background in closely-held business such as manufacturing, retail, wholesale, service and construction.
Mary’s strong technical background along with her intense desire to find solutions has helped the firm’s clientele maximize tax savings, thereby realizing a larger percentage of their earnings.

Tracy L. Hughes, CPA, Principal
Tracy L. Hughes is the Managing Principal of Taylor, Duffy & Associates, P.C. and has extensive experience working with closely held business in a wide variety of industries.
Tracy is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising the firm’s audit and review engagements. She is also responsible for the preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns for various clients including construction, manufacturing, retail trade and not-for-profit organizations.
Tracy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the board of directors of the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona.
